Engineering Consultancy Services
Concept Design
For this service, we will:
- Review scope and develop an agreement brief with the client/lead consultant.
- Carry out assessment of current hydro and thermal equipment, as well as determine MEP allocation/position.
- Provide a concept report outlining technical design criteria, conceptual design, mood images and MEP requirements.
For spa pools and thermal facilities, further steps will be included:
- Evaluate current plant room, and determine size requirements for spa pools and thermal equipment.
- Conduct examination of plant room size, balance tank size, and provide general information on electrical loadings & MEP requirements.
- Spa Pool heating and cooling recommendations will also be given.

Schematic Design
For this service, we will:
- Prepare a layout of the spa’ hydro and thermal amenities while considering client/consultant’s comments and budget requirements.
- Provide basic divisions based on the given pool structure.
- Provide mechanical and electrical requirements for all equipment based on input/co-ordination with MEP consultant.
- Provide Spa pool balance tank layouts and pipework penetrations.
- Determine Spa pool filtration chemical storage location, and provide health & safety and access requirements.
- Provide feedback on lighting design suitability for use in underwater environment (if applicable).
- Co-ordinate with architect/structural engineer regarding spa pool edge and overflow channels.
- Co-ordinate with interior design team on thermal cabin design, which includes determining door type, sanitary fittings and finishes.
*The schematic design will be done in coordination with all consultants in the project.

Detailed Design
For this service, we will:
- Prepare a detailed schedule of electrical loading and provide MEP requirements for all equipment.
- Prepare detailed technical specification and equipment data sheets.
- Provide detailed and fully coordinated spa pool layouts and determine spa pool elevations.
- Prepare a detailed wiring layout from plant room to all electrical items.
- Provide a layout showing warm water heating details (for rooms with this functionality).
- Prepare detailed and coordinated pipe work installation routes that surround the plant room and spa pool.
- Prepare detailed drawings, which include builder’s works drawings, pipe route drawings, detailed layouts and specified elevations of thermal areas, including floor build up detail and door detail.
- Provide support and recommendations on any value engineering requirements to reach client budget.
- Provide detailed balance tank layouts and outline pipework penetrations.
*The schematic design will be done in coordination with all consultants in the project.
Engineering Consultancy Services
Construction Documentation
For this service, we will focus on further developing the tender stage through refining tender and client clarifications. We will be coordinating with the design team to ensure top-level requirements are parsed down to detailed, construction-level documentation. We will refine drawings, and clarify/analyze any specifications and reports for the issuance of the final coordinated issue for contract (IFC) documents; which will incorporate any and all changes arising from VE, or tender addenda/clarifications.
